On September 22, only a month before the opening of 15th Western China International Fair, reporters learned from Television and Mobile Phone Mobilization Meeting held by Sichuan Provincial People's Government that currently the investment promotion had been completed, 8 major events and a series of special events had been ascertained, and exhibition site layout and organization had started.

　　15th Western China International Fair will witness a higher level of internationalization. 8,924 enterprises from 76 countries and areas have registered to exhibit, including 2,927 overseas companies and exhibition area of 64,800 square meters, accounting for 33% of all the exhibition enterprises and 26.9% of the total exhibition area respectively. 27 provinces from China and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Crops will partake in the exhibition. 14 countries, including France, the UK, America, Russia and Germany, will establish national exhibition pavilions. America, France, Germany, Russia, Australia and South Africa are the first time to set up their national pavilions. Georgia, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan are the first time to partake in Western China International Fair. The number of exhibition countries and national pavilions will create a new record.

　　15th Western China International Fair will highlight its exhibition professional level. It will cooperate initially with institutions such as Hannover of Germany and China Electronics Import and Export Corporate (CEIEC), and will cooperate for the first time with Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) in professional settings of exhibition. Besides, 3 special exhibitions will be held, including Western China Industrial Manufacturing and Technology Expo, Western China Emergency Industry Expo, and Sichuan Agricultural Expo. A considerable number of executives from Fortune 500 companies and multinational enterprises will be present at the Fair. Over 4,000 significant purchasing agents will purchase goods exhibited in the Fair.

　　The main exhibition hall will be set into Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition Center with the overall exhibition area of 240,000 square meters.
